The Pigskin Fantasy Football United Keeper Leagues consist of fifteen (15) seperate leagues of eight (8) franchises each, respectively. Contestants may enter one, two, three or ALL leagues! Each league will compete in a fourteen (14) week, head-to-head, regular season with the top four (4) franchises qualifying for the league playoffs.
In NFL Week 15 the #1 thru #4 seeded franchises will meet for the right to play for the league championship in NFL Week 16. The champion of each league will then compete in the Pigskin Champions Competition to be held during the NFL Playoffs right here at PigskinFantasyFootball.com!
The Drafts & Starting Lineups:
There will be fifteen (15) seperate drafts, one per league, respectively. Each draft will consist of twenty-two (22) rounds. The draft order will be decided by Yahoo Sports. The Pigskin Fantasy Football league drafts will be as follows:
League 1 - Monday, September 1 at 5:00pm (EST)

League 7 - Sunday, August 31 at 11:30pm (EST)
League 8 - Monday, September 1 at 7:00pm (EST)
League 9 - Monday, September 1 at 9:00pm (EST)
League 10 - Monday, September 1 at 11:00pm (EST)
League 11 - Wednesday, September 3 at 7:00pm (EST)
League 12 - Wednesday, September 3 at 10:00pm (EST)
League 13 - Monday, August 25 at 10:30pm (EST)
League 14 - Tuesday, August 26 at 10:30pm (EST)
League 15 - Wednesday, August 27 at 10:30pm (EST)
Franchise owners are able to draft any number of players at each position, but starting lineups will be as follows:
2 Quarterbacks
3 Runningbacks
3 Widereceivers
2 Tight End
2 Place Kicker
2 Defense/Special Team
It is the franchise owners responsibility to be present for the draft.
Scoring System:
The scoring system used in all Pigskin Fantasy Football leagues will be as follows:
Offensive Scoring
6 points for all rushing & receiving touchdowns
4 points for passing touchdowns
1 point for every 10 yards receiving or rushing
1 point for every 25 yards passing
2 points for two point conversions
-2 points for fumbles lost & interceptions thrown
Offensive Bonus Scoring
1 point for reaching passing yards of 300
1 point for reaching passing yards of 350
1 point for reaching passing yards of 400
1 point for reaching receiving or rushing yards of 100
1 point for reaching receiving or rushing yards of 150
1 point for reaching receiving or rushing yards of 200
Defensive & Special Teams Scoring
6 points for all touchdowns
2 points for a safety, interception and fumble recovery
2 points for a blocked kick
1 point for a sack
10 points for a defensive shutout
7 points for 1 - 6 points allowed
4 points for 7 - 13 points allowed
1 point for 14 - 20 points allowed
0 points for 21 - 27 points allowed
-1 point for 28 - 34 points allowed
-4 points for 35+ points allowed
Place Kickers Scoring
1 point for a PAT
3 points for a field goal between 0 & 39 yards
4 points for a field goal between 40 & 49 yards
5 points for a field goal of 50 yards or more
Roster Transactions:
The deadline for trading is October 31, 2008, and ALL trades are subject to a league vote. The voting process is 3 days from the time that the trade is submitted.
Any dropped player will go on the waiver wire before another franchise owner can obtain the rights to that player.
Champions Competition:
The fifteen (15) league champions will compete during the NFL Playoffs ( from the wildcard playoffs thru the superbowl ) to become the 2008 Pigskin Fantasy Football Champion.
Contestants will submit starting lineups from ALL available players each week of the NFL Playoffs, with the points accumulating thru the superbowl. The same scoring system as the Pigskin Fantasy Football leagues will be used.
In the event of a tie, all positions tied will be divided evenly. In the event that a tie occurs for first place, then co-champions will be determined.
